At this moment in time I believe my country has gone completely mad. How, say you? Very simply put, NRA endorsement of Harry Reid and NASA now tasked by the current administration to "reach out" to the Muslim world to build better relations.
The first part is easy to discern. Sen Harry Reid (D-NV) has in the past supported certain NRA endorsed legislation. However, he did this for political expediency only. Just to get votes or buy votes depending on who you are talking too. He also has on numerous times been one of the biggest anti-gun, pro Brady Bill legislators in the Senate. Harry Reid has been no friend of the Constitution. His many votes in the U.S. Senate, in addition to his many statements as Senate Majority Leader since 2006 when the Democrats took control of Congress, indicate without doubt that he is a dangerous 'progressive' who thinks the Constitution stands in the way of 'human progress toward fundamental change in government.'I will have to wait and see if my membership to the NRA comes to an end. More than likely it will. An alternative to the NRA is "Gun Owners of America". Link provided: http://gunowners.org/
I am thinking about switching memberships.
Now on the NASA. One really has to question the intentions of the current Administration when you read about the head of NASA conducting an interview on and with Al Jazeera. Let see they praised the terrorists that attacked the U.S. on 9/11 and referred to them as "Hero's" in the Muslim world. Here is a quote from Charles Bolden the current NASA Administrator: "When I became the NASA administrator -- or before I became the NASA administrator -- he charged me with three things. One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering,"
PresBO wants the Muslim nations to "feel good"? Well I would feel pretty darn good if the U.S. would grow a pair and turn that part of the world to glass. They felt pretty good in the Muslim world when, like the cowardly vermin ridden s.o.b's that they are, attacked the U.S. on 9/11. Finally what one must think what in the hell does NASA have to do with building relations in the Muslim world?
This guy Obama is a disgrace to my country. He is a Terrorist sympathizer, a usurper and Communist. He is hell bent on the destruction of the United States. I pray that when November 2011 comes around that America will still be here and the people will vote out all those who attempt to destroy and defile this great nation.
I leave with one final thought. Actually a quote from Pres. Ronald Reagan: "America need God more that God needs America. If we ever forget we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a Nation gone under."
I pray everyday for our Nation.

It has been a long time since I posted something
So much to say. So much to rant about. Just a quick note.
U.S. Senate. The Senate voted 53-47 against a motion to proceed to a resolution by Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, that would bar the EPA from issuing such climate-changing regulations under the Clean Air Act.
Under this the EPA will have sweeping taxing and levy authority over the citizens of the U.S. This is in direct violation of the Constitution. The Constitution specifically states:
Section 8 - Powers of Congress
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
What President Obama and those 53 Senators did was in direct violation of their oath of office and is an impeachable offense. Here are your 53 Senators:
Akaka (D-HI)
Baucus (D-MT)
Begich (D-AK)
Bennet (D-CO)
Bingaman (D-NM)

My opinion. It is an election year. What is wrong with the voter? It is time to vote out every last one of these career and clownish politicians. I really don't care what your political offiliation is, vote for the other guy. It is time to kick the bums out.

Why I Carry a Gun and Know How to Use It
I wish this was an orginal piece by myself. Unfortuantely I am not that smart. I do agree with this 100%. I make not excuses for my support of the 2nd Ammendment. This is the single most important in the Bill of Rights. It is what seperates the U.S. from every other country in the world. It is the cornerstone of our "God given" Freedoms. I love my God and I love my country. God bless America and enjoy.
Why I Carry a Gun and Know How to Use It
I don't carry a gun to kill people. I carry a gun to keep from being killed.
I don't carry a gun to scare people. I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.
I don't carry a gun because I'm paranoid. I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.
I don't carry a gun because I'm evil. I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world.
I don't carry a gun because I hate the government. I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.
I don't carry a gun because I'm angry. I carry a gun so that I don't have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.
I don't carry a gun because I want to shoot someone. I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.
I don't carry a gun to make me feel like a man. I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.
I don't carry a gun because I feel inadequate. I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.
I don't carry a gun because I love it.. I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.
"Police Protection" is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves. Police do not protect you from crime; they investigate the crime after it happens, and then clean up the mess.
Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take a beating.

AR15 and Me.
In my life, during my life, I have been known for being somewhat of a raconteur (something else you will have to look up). Well at least in my mind. My lovely wife and children may disagree. I try to keep my orations witty and compelling. I think I am a entertaining character (many would tend to disagree). Also they have a tendency not to be brief. Typically I begin my stories with "True, true, story". So why should I change now. To begin.....
True, true story:
Tuesday November 3rd in the year of our Lord 2009. It is a beautiful fall day. My son Daniel (Drew) and I have returned to home after a day running an errand. Andrea and Matthew (my other children, I have 4 remember?) have had a pretty good day. Chores were completed and the house was in its usual state of chaos. The children had asked if they could go out to the neighbors, hang out and do what kids do. So I politely kicked them out.
A short time later I get a call from my oldest son Daniel. During our conversation he explains to me that the 2 dirt bags that live in a trailer next door to our neighbors (behind my property) were fighting. At this point the altercation was not physical but verbal. Quickly it turned to physical. Point of reference: this is what happens when you become a low-life, dirt bag drunk/meth head. I instructed my son to sit tight with his brother and sister. I would be calling a friend of mine with the local Police Dept and would be coming down to get the three of them to escort them home. (Note: If those 2 mutts want to kill themselves have at it. Just leave my kids out of it.) I return to the inside of my home to get locate the number of my Cop buddy. While looking for it I could here some yelling outside and someone coming through my property. I look out of my bedroom window and can see drunk scum hole brother number one walking through my property. He was holding a piece of paper (8.5x11, by the way I am extremely observant) coming up the right side of my house. He was looking at someone I can't see and attempting to talk to them. At this point I am contemplating personal home protection implement and engagement. (Refer to my first post and my support of the 2nd Amend). I thought better of it. Let's see what is going on first. I step outside of my house. Immediately I see to my left 2 County Sheriff Deputies (they did not see me). I poke my head around the corner (to the right) and see drunk loser brother #1 trying to convince Local City Police Officer not to put 3 rounds in his chest. The officer had his issued S&W.40 cal MNP pointing at this jerks chest ordering him to the ground. "Get on the ground! Get on the ground!". It was the same as watching a good episode of COPS. To think I had front row seats. This was gonna be cool. What would have made it more enjoyable is if the had a K-9 unit and released the dog on him. There is nothing funnier than to watch some human piece of trash get torn into by a 110lb German Shepard. I am digressing, please excuse me. Back to the story.
At this point there is a SWAT officer behind and to the perps (cop term) left. He is in full SWAT gear. All black, boots, combat holster for his side arm and a mighty snazzy looking AR-15. Here is where it gets fun. The officer at this point sees me. Bingo! Instant bad guy. Now understand, the officer does not know who I am, where I came from or what my involvement is at this point. He followed proper and correct procedure. Anyone in his place would have done the exact same thing. If not, he should not be a cop. The officer raises his AR-15 (hence the title of this blog), takes a proper and deliberate firing stance, and aims it directly at my chest. My heart rate instantly jumped to about 200 beats per minute. At this point I can feel my bladder and bowels loosening (I did keep them well under control). Was I scared, nope. Why? Because I am not a "bad-guy" a "perp". I have done nothing wrong. Yes I was very uncomfortable. I don't even like someone pointing a pee-shooter at me. So the officer directs me away from my house. "Step away from the house! Is there anyone else inside! Get down on the ground! Lay flat with your hands over your head and feet apart!" My response, "No problem-o officer". Once on the ground he asks if I have any weapons on me. I respond in typical Dan way, "Not at the moment officer". Yeah sometimes my own intelligence amazes me. Another officer places me in handcuffs and assists me to my feet. While on the ground I see my cop buddy, Sgt Greg. I give him a shout out, "Hey man, how's it going?". He looked at me and gave me a little smile. He's a funny guy. After the officers verify my identity (however, they did not find out my secret identity) from my DL, Sgt Greg (you know my funny friend) vouches for me and off come the handcuffs. Now I am a good guy again. I explain to the officers what is going on and who the particulars are. After about an hour or so arrests are made. Bad guys are gone. There were never any shots fired on or around my property. Sgt Greg was on scene very quickly as well as the other officers and had the situation under control. The officers that were detaining me, to include the Swat guy, apologized to me. All the officers were polite and courteous to me. I let them know that it was no problem. I understood completely that they were doing their job. I graciously thanked them for the work they did. They really did do great job.
At this point you may be asking yourself, "what about the kids Dan?" This is why I love my children so. They were safe at the neighbors house watching this unfold and happen to their dear beloved daddy. Were they scared, upset, crying? Nope. They were jumping up and down. Pointing at me and laughing their tails off at me. We have a very strange sense of humor in my household. Honestly it was pretty funny. Have you ever seen an old man try to get to his feet in handcuffs? I would have laughed too and did. Stories are wonderful and I love them. The kids and I had a good bonding moment. I told the wife after she got home from work. Now that is another story in itself. I felt less scared with the Swat cop than I did telling my sweetie pie this story.
That's my story and I am sticking with it. I hope you enjoyed. Thanks all.

First Time Bloging.
I am a first time blogger. With that we can all see how it goes. Be warned my views on my political views and my opinions may be offensive to some. If you are offended, I really don't care. I will be honest, truthful and as factual as possible. If you read something here that you do not like or you like please comment. I kindly request that you do not use profanity or belittle anyone that has made a comment (that right is expressly bestowed to me). I will blog about my political views, my beliefs in God, technology and any thing else I wish. Keep checking back because you never know what you will get.
Politics:
I am a Conservative. I have voted Republican in most elections since the age of 18. Periodically I have voted for an Independent and one time for a Democrat. That Democrat was Gov. Zell Miller of Georgia. Things are about to change.
I believe vehemently in the 2ND Amendment and I am a card carrying member of the NRA. Yes we do have the "Right" to keep and bear arms. Read the constitution, remember the rules of English and what the meaning of a well placed "Coma" is used for.
I believe the following Amendments should be repealed:
17th Ammednment
16th Ammendment (Fairtax.org)
In our country we are a Republic, not a Democracy. Just rember that. Whenever I hear any pundant, politician or news personality refer to our country as a Democracy, I cringe. Again read the Constitution.
No, we do not have the "Right to Vote". It is not specificaly granted in the Constitution but rather implied. The only rights we have are expressly given in the "Bill of Rights". These are "certain unalienable Rights granted to us by our Creator" period. You will see future blogs on this I am sure.
I reserve the right to blog about the "A" word. I will not argue with you nor discuss with anyone. If you listen to or read Neal Boortz you know what I mean.
I believe (as an American Citizen) that all current Congressmen, Senators, President and 2/3's of the Supreme Court should be fired. Much more to come.
God:
I love God and he loves me. My walk with God is my walk with God. It is a deep personal relationship between God and myself. I will share that with others but never force it upon them. One of the many great blessings of God is that He has given you that choice. God has always been with me, even when I was lost and not listening. Do I sin, you bet I do. I am human and that is the number one reason that God works through and with me. God loves me because of my faults and regardless of my faults. Yes I believe in Jesus too. He is my Lord and Savior as well as yours. Whether you choose to believe that or not. For that I refer you to John 11:35. It was not just for me but for everyone. LOOK IT UP already.
I belong to an outstanding church. A loving spirtual church family. Woodstock Church of the Nazarene. I am a Sunday School teacher. Actually they teach me more than I could ever teach them. I love my church kids. When asked about how many kids I have, my typical response is "about 35". Yes they are my kids, I love (and protect, I refer back to the 2nd Amend) as my own and they know it. More to come.............
Family:
What can I say. I have a great family. My wife, my kids, my extended family and nuclear family. They are all tremendous. Yes my kids annoy me to no ends. What keeps me from choking them you may ask? They are funny!! They all make me laugh until my side hurts and I spew milk out of my nose. Each one is so individual, complete opposites. We are a "blended" family. When times are tough they stick together. It is amazing. I am so proud of them. Everyday is a new adventure.
My wife. She is loving, sweet, caring, compasionate, and hot! The complete opposite of me. I wonder everyday how such an ugly mug as me could have such a wonderful woman. I refer back to God on this one. See above.
My extended family and direct family. I would not change them or any of my experiences for anything. My brothers are true heros. As the baby of the family I look up to them. Now when we were younger, boy did we go at it. We have some great stories.
Sports:
NY Giants. That is all I have to say about that.
So from here I end. I am excited about this little project of mine. I have alot to say, stories to tell and people to upset. I have alot to say but little time to say it. I attempt to live my life by 3 very simple guidelines: " I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a hand upon. I don't do these things to others and I require the same from them." (Nope not mine, if you know me you can probably figure it out, if not Google it!!). I leave you al l with a 2 little quote (can you guess who said it):
"Life is tough, life is tougher when you're stupid"
"Count your nickles and dimes and your dollars will take care of themselves".
Remember "God Bless America".
